The table only shows high tides (because that’s what we need to schedule sailing races). We try to start sailing races 1.5 to 2 hours in advance of high tide. We no longer schedule sailing races for low tides.
Low tides, best for Barry dog walking, are 6 hours either side of high tide - there’s a slight time difference to Barry, but not enough to worry about. Some days only show one high tide - that happens when high tide is around midday and the next one falls into the following day. The height of high tides varies over the month from Springs - 12 or 13 metres, to Neaps - 8 or 9 metres.
